We are a group of Christians who live in the Garioch area of Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Our homes are in Inverurie, Oldmeldrum, Insch, Newmachar, Blackburn, Kemnay and Kintore. gariochchurch was officially launched on 1st September 2007 and accepted into membership of the Baptist Union of Scotland on 11th September. Our desire is to see a flourishing rural church in the Garioch which is slightly different in flavour to other churches in the area. We want to express what it means to be a Christian in the 21st century in a variety of ways, but focusing on the use of homes and the building of relationships as priorities.

The vision of gariochchurch is to see a number of groups, which are home-based and focussed on local outreach, meeting in this area as a key means by which God can reach out to our neighbours. These groups seek to be a faithful expression of the body of Christ within our local communities.

Our values represent where gariochchurch finds itself at this moment … we are called to love other people, worship and obey God, and to care for God’s creation.

All of our home-based groups join together as a larger congregation once or twice a month. These @central meetings are usually on the first and fifth Sunday of the month at 10am, in the Garioch Sports Centre, Inverurie.
