Mid-term strategy
- A model is needed that seeks to help those Christians who, for the sake of local outreach, want to avoid attending church at some distance from their homes, neighbours and local community
- The characteristics of the area suggest the strategic model of a mid-sized central resource church
- supplemented by a number of small, networked community groups in each of the north Garioch local towns, with a primary focus on reaching out to people in these communities
- Each networked community group would be served and resourced by the central resource church
- As a networked community group in a town grows in size, it multiplies into two groups, creating a small church in that locality, still served and resourced by the central resource church
- Networked community groups/churches would have a ‘Sunday presence’ on alternate weeks in their locality
- On other weeks, they would meet as a larger gathering in the central resource church in Inverurie
