storyspace happens on the third Sunday of every month in the Kintore Village Hall from 2pm. Some members of Kintore Parish Church join with us as well as many additional families from the community.
Pre-school – P3 aged children enjoy the storyspace session, which takes place in the main hall. Each month the story box is opened and a different bible story presented in a visual and interactive way. The children then explore elements of the story through different play activities, crafts, and games. They have ‘feast’ together and chat about what they have been doing during the session.
P4-P7 aged children enjoy some hangout space together in the room upstairs. They engage in age appropriate activities and games, chat and chill together and are also given the opportunity to look at a bible story and consider its moral implications.
While parents are welcome to drop their children off and collect them later, we do encourage them to join us for adultspace. You don’t need to have children attending storyspace to come along for adultspace. All are welcome to have a cuppa, enjoy the homemade fine pieces and have a chat. There are toys for little tots to play with. Adultspace is set up in the bar area of the hall.
Watch out for storyspace posters around the village each month or find us on facebook to find out more about each months event. We would love to see you there.
