Those who belong to the Oldmeldrum Community group come from some of the towns and villages east of Inverurie, including Oldmeldrum, Newmachar, Daviot and Lethenty.
Over the past three years, our group has grown and multiplied, and we are constantly trying to accommodate the changing needs of those who belong. We’re learning how to support each other at different stages of life’s journeys, how to ask questions about faith and life, and how to serve the village communities in which we live. Everyone is important and has something to contribute – from pre-School to retirement.
Every fortnight, on Sundays, we enjoy sharing a meal together as a large family in one of our homes, worshipping and exploring more about God and his world. (On the other Sundays, we meet with the other gariochchurch Community groups). We also meet on Wednesday evenings to pray together and learn from the Bible more about the challenging life God wants us to lead.
