… is powerful, yet personal. He created the universe, and made human beings in his image to have a special relationship with him, to support and care for one another, and to have a particular responsibility over his creation.
Humans keep failing to fulfil these goals, but God wants to rescue us and bring about his plan for creation.
Jesus is God’s son and is both fully human and fully God. He has not only rescued us from our failure to obey God, but has also taught and modelled how we should now live.
Questions that are important to us …
- How does the Bible shape us as individuals and as communities?
- How does sharing Communion shape us in the way of Christ?
- How do we as individuals and as communities find time for silence and contemplation in the midst of busy lives?
- In becoming more like Christ, how do we understand what it means to be human, created in the image of God?
- How do we express faith and spirituality in creative ways?
- How do we build and nurture communal spiritual practices?
